We have imagined La L\u00e9vri\u00e8re as a country house, your country house<\/strong>. A unique place, near Giverny,<\/strong> 1 hour from Paris, where you can come and breathe, recharge your batteries, take a breath of fresh air and enjoy nature after a good day’s sightseeing in our beautiful Normandy. A place where you can come for a romantic getaway<\/strong> or a holiday in the countryside with family.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guest house is independent, so that you feel at home. It can be privatized for your personal, family and professional events (seminars, shootings).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why we created La L\u00e9vri\u00e8re<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are Margaux and David. We are lovers of nature, animals, our lovely village of\u00a0Saint-Denis-le-Ferment, and our beautiful Norman region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We designed\u00a0La L\u00e9vri\u00e8re\u00a0as a cosy haven, where we invite you to unpack your bags, slow down, reconnect with what truly matters, and immerse yourself in nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During your stay, we will take great care of you so you can fully switch off. We will also be delighted to share our favourite places and local recommendations with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we arrived at La L\u00e9vri\u00e8re, we had several dreams. The first one was ambitious : to achieve a form of food self-sufficiency by producing our own organic fruit and vegetables in permaculture<\/strong>, to grow old, forgotten varieties, and of course, not to use chemicals. We are now delighted to offer you the opportunity to taste our produce with our table d’h\u00f4tes based on the organic vegetables from our garden.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second was a childhood dream : to live with animals<\/strong>, to have enough land to have horses, chickens and a dog. This was without counting on the wild ducks, birds and deer, which also share our forest garden and which we never tire of watching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, to slow down<\/strong>, to escape the hustle and bustle, to live to the rhythm of nature and its season<\/strong>s, to (re)find a simplicity and a gentleness of life. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Everyone must do their part, at their own level, as the legend of the little hummingbird who tries to put out the fire that is ravaging the forest illustrates so well. At La L\u00e9vri\u00e8re, we try to limit our ecological impact as much as possible<\/strong>. We also try to limit our consumption <\/strong>: we like to give a second life to old objects, to collect things, to make our furniture from local wood\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We favour short circuits<\/strong>, local and organic products. The organic vegetables that you eat at our table d’h\u00f4tes come directly from our vegetable garden<\/strong>, and the fruit, as soon as possible, from our orchard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have adopted environmentally friendly cleaning products<\/strong>, we recycle, we have a compost\u2026 and chickens : thanks to them, no food waste !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We try to reduce our waste as much as possible, the use of plastic, and watch our electricity and water consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
