The vegetable garden-orchard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When we first arrived at La Levri\u00e8re, the garden was a large, untouched piece of land that looked like a jungle. We created a vegetable garden, planted an orchard<\/strong>, and set up a micro-farm<\/strong> to provide most of our needs and those of our guests for vegetables and fruit. Our farm-to-table dinner<\/a> is cooked with our organic vegetables.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Part of the garden has been left wild to conserve endemic species and pollinators<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are developing our own varieties of certain vegetables<\/strong>, adapted to the particular conditions of a riverside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our animals : horses, chickens and wild visitors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are lucky to share our life with our dog Rio<\/strong>, an adorable Border Collie who loves playing with our guests, our horses<\/strong>, who stay in the garden during the warmer months, and our chickens<\/strong>, which children love to feed during a visit to the henhouse and which provide us with delicious eggs every morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wild ducks<\/strong> live in the garden, we are also blessed with many birds<\/strong>, moorhens, frogs<\/strong>, and the occasional visit from deer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Take La Reine Blanche walking path <\/strong>at the bottom of the garden for a stroll through the countryside amidst meadows of cows, horses<\/strong>\u2026 You may encounter roe deer. In the rutting season, you can hear the deer calling from the garden and perhaps catch a glimpse of them\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
