We are in the heart of Vexin Normand, in the village of Saint Denis le Ferment, 1 hour from Paris.
What are the nearest points of interest to La Lévrière ?
Giverny with Claude Monet’s house and its splendid gardens (40 minutes from our house). Gisors, 10 minutes. The lovely villages of Reilly and Lyons-la-Forêt are 20 minutes away, with Mortemer Abbey and Vascoeuil Castle just outside Lyons. Within 30 minutes you have the pretty village of Gerberoy, and just before that the abbey of Saint Germer de Fly, Vernon, La Roche Guyon, Les Andelys with Château Gaillard… We have listed here the must-sees of the Vexin Normand. We are also 5 minutes from the equestrian centre of La Bonde, which organises international Pony Games competitions every year.
At what time can we arrive ?
The times are set to give you the best possible welcome. Arrivals are between 5pm and 7pm.
At what time should we leave the room ?
Departure time is 11am at the latest.
Is breakfast included in the price ?
A generous gourmet breakfast, homemade and locally sourced, is included and served to you every morning.
Do you offer table d’hôtes?
Yes, an evening meal is served on certain evenings, upon reservation.
Is there a parking ?
Yes, you can park in a secure parking area on our property.
Do you speak English ?
Yes, we welcome our guests in both French and English.
Do you welcome babies ?
For the comfort of all our guests, we are delighted to welcome babies who are sleeping through the night. We provide a baby bed, a high chair, a bathtub…
Do you accept pets ?
The presence of our animals (our dog, which does not have access to the interior of the guest house, our hens, our horses), makes it impossible to bring your pets.
Can we bring our bikes ?
Yes, you can put them in our garage. We are close to the Avenue Verte, which links Paris to London. If you come from Paris, you can take the train (line J) to Gisors with your bike and then join us. You can also hire bikes in Gisors.
How far are you from the ferry ports ?
We are 2,5 hours from Calais and 1,5 hour from Dieppe by car.
Can you recommend local restaurants ?
Yes, we have some excellent restaurants close to the house, and we will be happy to recommend them to you.
Can we privatise the house ?
Yes, the house can be privatized for your personal events (birthdays, christenings, weekends with friends or family) and professional events (seminars in the countryside, shootings).
